On June 29, 2024, Dr. Zhang Yuntao, co-convener of the 10th International Strawberry Symposium, professor at the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry, gave a lecture on the theme of "The Current Situation and Future Development of Strawberry Production in China" and promoted the 10th ISS at the "1st Strawberry Industry Technology Exchange Conference of Shanxi Province " jointly organized by the Qinyuan County People's Government and the Fruit Research Institute of Shanxi Agricultural University.

More than 260 people from all over the country, including administrative department in charge of strawberry industry from different production areas, researchers, new business entities such as cooperatives and family farms, practitioners in means of production and agricultural machinery of strawberry, and media representatives participated in this meeting. The attendees exchanged ideas on technical issues related to the cultivation of new varieties, virus free nursery preparing technology, and disease and pest prevention and control in China's strawberry industry development.

The attendees stated that they will actively participate in the 10th ISS and enhance the overall level of China's strawberry industry by further strengthening international and domestic academic and exchange efforts.
